A Unique Design for Future Interstellar Space Transportation The following image represents the OVAL interstellar space transportation system. The graphic is a greatly simplified representation which mearly defines the general components, layout and design, with only a brief description of the role of each component. The main goal is to introduce a new concept in propulsion and the manner in which it differs from rocket technology and present designs for interstellar travel. Immediatly apparent are some unusual features which make this starship very different from present forms of space propulsion.

In fact, some components serve two or three seperate and distinct functions.
